Certified organic, sustainable farmstead cheese from the von Trapp family farm

The von Trapp Farmstead is a 3rd generation family farm and creamery in Waitsfield, Vermont, where we make award winning artisan cheese, flavorful yogurt, and pastured meat and charcuterie. All of our cheeses and yogurts are made with certified organic pasteurized dairy from cows on our farm. Learn more about our regenerative agriculture farming practices.

Our cheese has won medals from the American Cheese Society, Good Food Awards, World Cheese Awards, and several other competitions. You can find our products at select restaurants and retailers as well as through wholesalers including Provisions International, Seacrest Foods, Saxelby Cheesemongers, Murray’s Cheese, Food Matters Again, Dole & Bailey, and Black River Produce.

Wholesale

Direct wholesale orders are typically limited to Vermont businesses who can pick up at our farm store, are within a 30 mile delivery range, or businesses currently serviced by Farm Connex. During colder months of the year and based on our discretion, we may ship direct to retail/restaurant customers.
